The main aspects related to battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles, including efficiency, market, research and divulgation will be presented and discussed in the VE 2007 - 5th Electric Vehicle Seminar & Exhibit that the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE) and the National Institute of Energy Efficiency (INEE) organize in October 25-26, 2007, at the Light Cultural Center, Rua Marechal Floriano, nº 168, Centro, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil.
Besides the seminar, an electric vehicle tecnology, product and service exhibit will show the market novelties. The exhibiton area is open to the public and admission is free. In the Seminar the technological developments, legislation and regulation and ways to accelerate the development and use of electric vehicles in Brazil will be assessed. This theme has particularly attracted people of the automotive, transport, energetic and environmental sectors, and interests to all levels of government (federal, state and municipal), as well as to the component and electrical equipment industries, fuel companies, R&D centers, universities and investiment institutions.
The selected themes include: electric vehicles and environment; technologies, systems and components for electric vehicles; public transport with electric vehicles; logistic solutions; electric vehicles and power companies: uses and opportunities; legislation and regulation; research and development; and constructing my electric vehicle.
